Comment | Avoid British Gas. Do not go near them.
They were my gas & electricity supplier when I moved into my house in May 2021.
I still haven't had a bill off them. I enter my meter readings regularly. They never bill me. They also won't let me change my direct debit from £10 a month.
They've outsourced all their call centres to India. I've never had a problem with Indian call centres before, but the BG one is beyond useless. I've tried to explain to them multiple times that I need a bill and to change my direct debit. They just keep telling me my account is still Being set up. The online chat is no better.
Thanks to the current situation, I can't even change supplier.
I'm banking what I should be paying them properly each month for when the inevitable bill finally comes |
