| Comment | I don’t blame the strikers at all, I support them 100%. I support anyone’s right to strike and recognise the historical gains I have benefited from due to the actions of striking workers gone before me.
This however DOES affect city centre businesses and we do feel a big down turn because of this. Our figures compared to last week are…. telling. The trade at my place of work has been massively hit by the strikes.
I hope the strikes end because the workers get a deal that they deserve and are happy with. This shouldn’t be an “us” v “them” issue. |
