This will mainly affect people who have already sent in documents - if you send them now, then you are unlikely to be able to apply for permission to work. If your case is being managed by a regional asylum team then please send your permission to work application to your case owner. If you are given permission to work, you will not be allowed to become self-employed and you will only be allowed to take up a job which is included on the list of shortage occupations published by UK Visas and Immigration.
