I would describe £36 as not cheap. I can get to Arran for about £20 return including the train and ferry - but I agree it's not ridiculously expensive. I just meant that if it is being run as a non-profit I'd expect it to be cheap. Someone earlier had a good idea of fuel costs etc though which probably explains that.
They sell a 40 ticket book for approx £2000 so must be around £50-60 a time now. |
