| Comment | One thing to keep in mind, mixing guitar bands and DJs is not the same as a rapper with beats.
And not everyone has the experience or cares enough.
I had some good tutelage and know how to help a MC and rapper sit ontop of instrumental tracks and keep them clear in the mix, while keeping the backing tracks loud.
Just comes down to if an engineer mixes mostly rock, jazz, whatever. |
