| Comment | The system's fucking stupid. A few times when I was coming over from Edinburgh to Glasgow and not going back the same day i ended up getting a return bc it was the same price. I think I put it down somewhere and then hopefully someone can pick it up.
Now i'm living in Glasgow my train to Central is £2.20 return which is cheaper than a bus but also... cheaper than the only single option offered by the machines in the station???!? Like it has off peak return for 2.20 and anytime single for 2.50, madness. Anyway one time I was in town but I had walked to the subway on the way in and wanted to go straight home so went to get an overground train. When i got to my station i put the return portion in the machine so it was sticking out, hope someone got to use it. It was like mid-evening, i don't even know if anyone would have gone into town at that time. |
