Tue and Thursdays from 15th Dec I have no idea of cost but it will be heavily subsidised, I don't know if you have to be a local resident either but worth contacting them if you can make it either day.
Govan Pantry located in the Peirce Institue also runs Wednesdadays and Thursdays, I think you may have to be localfor that one, but contact them for details. £2.50 will get you up to 10 subsidised items, but they are very generous if you are in need.

I have been told the Govan Free Church in Linthouse gives out food parcels on Thursdays.
The Sikh Temples in the south side and west end also offer langar will serve a warm vegetarian meal to anyone in need.
If you contact the Sikh Temple in Otago St they will give you a food parcel.
Finally a bit hit and miss, but Locavore offer fruit and veg that is although past its best is still good for free, you may need to check on a daily basis for this. |
