I want to have more control over my health, and I believe getting it done ciclically can be only beneficial in long term.

I don’t want to regret not doing that especially if it may help detect serious diseases at their early (developing) stages.

Regarding NHS, I’m not planing to head to emergency, or insist on it as on something really urgent, but I see no reason to not using NHS for it if I call and book an appointment and I’m wondering if that is doable. At the end of the day I’m equally contributing in financing NHS, and having an appointment with someone first time in 10 years doesn’t seem like unreasonable.

Imagine everyone doing regular check ups on their health. Wouldn’t that help NHS if people become more aware of their health and minimise risk of long and costly treatments if detected early?
