Getting beyond the joke, and I apologize if you found it offensive, another thing I practice that helps me is mindfulness meditation, it's not for everyone and people can sometimes find it hard to get into it. But if it is something that you can manage it does provide benefits for depressive states of mind. I mainly practice at home but there is a group I go to in Glasgow west end called the Glasgow Zen group, again not for everyone, but there are many different versions online, cheers 🙏😃
