I totally agree, the idea of hitting the ice isn’t appealing in any way shape or form… I think it’s just having that bit or routine for me or in my case it’s more a coping mechanism, I always felt really claustrophobic at this time of year because it’s so dull but when it’s wet and windy I layer up (and likely look really stupid lol) put my earphones in and go for it.
