What worries me is that the only reasoning applied to the rental market, and many other things, is comparative. The fact that your rent is lower than someone else's is hardly the point when you stand back and examine the situation our city is in. For example, my partner moved to Ibrox two years ago and the typical rent on his street rose from £450 to £850 for a one bedroom flat in that time.

This is outrageous, we're being robbed blind by landlords social and private and need to understand that the only solution is to organise as tenants against this.
