I wouldn’t be so sure. Last time I spent Hogmanay in Glasgow it was dead (2020 before Covid). Most pubs shutting at 10/11pm. The ones open charging ridiculous prices to get in.
Was quite embarrassing as my parents were up and they thought it was shit too.
Ended up going to Hootenanny’s which had a very average band on.
