I almost certainly have ADHD, and has been obvious since I was a baby, but have never gotten diagnosed. It makes me who I am, helps with creativity, helps me to get excited about things, be outdoorsy and love exercise. It comes with negatives like susceptibility to depression and anxiety, but I wouldn't change anything. I don't want medication because that just numbs the perfectly normal person I am. There's little reason to assume you'd need any medication if you don't use it already. With so many people being diagnosed these days, it's about time we started realising that people don't need to be medicated - instead we need to see that "normal" doesn't exist, and learn to appreciate and support the whole spectrum of personalities
