Regarding your point about meds having 'enjoyable side effects', there's actually strong link between untreated ADHD and substance misuse; not the other way round. Meds, which I can assure you don't have 'enjoyable side effects', actually reduce the risk of substance misuse and can generally lead to a significant increase in quality of life. |
