I used to work there in 2007 and midweek evenings were always popular with single men who were staying in the city on business.
Our VAT receipts weren't itemised so folk used to love coming in because they could batter their expenses on drink and there was no evidence they'd done so, their receipt would just show they'd spent £25 on 'food and drink'.
