I’m a nurse and someone saying they felt so unwell they thought they were going to die is not consistent with the common cold. We do have the highest flu admissions for some time.
Tbh, I don’t hear people saying they’re going to die very often. Impending sense of doom and palliative care/terminal illness aside.
