That’s fair enough when you have a cold but if it gets to the point you can barely stand I think it’s fair to call it a day and pull a Sicky.
I get it I work in a team with a high case load and if someone is off then we have to pick up the work but I would rather someone stay in bed if they are at the point they can barely stand.
At the end of the day if I died tomorrow or ended up with a terminal illness my work wouldn’t give a fuck they would replace me within a few weeks and I would never be a second thought in their minds again. Why would I bust my chops for them. I do what I can for my team but I am not going to run myself into the ground for any job. I could walk out today and find another one doing the same thing within a few days. |
