Accidentally went the wrong way down a one way street near the 02 Academy. Single van on the left and no-one else. The second I entered the street, they honked me. Not just a toot though, they held that fucker down for a good 15, 20 seconds. Yeah, I know I've made a fuck up, you don't have to panic me while I correct myself.
The best one was when a car on my left drove in front of me as I was going round a roundabout and they tooted *me* as if I was in the wrong. Can still see the scowl they gave me as they broke the highway code.
I've started beeping back at people. Made a perfectly fine left turn into a main road and the guy behind me sped up and beeped me. I beeped back and could see his confused face in the mirror as he tailgated me. |
