| Comment | as someone who lives below a single man who oftentimes sounds like a family of jump-roping 6 year olds... buy the kids cheap house shoes or have them in socks with shoes left at the door. Tell them to not hop or jump. it's fucking miserable when it's in excess. maybe the person below you doesn't have family to visit. they could be an international student since you said they were studying.
it's just common decency. kids getting excited is fine, but the jumping and hopping should be nipped in the bud. you can't cancel out vibrations like that with headphones. my flat will sometimes shake because of my neighbour's stomping around. |
