Agree with 99% of this but there are exceptions if you’re not daft enough to get taken in by all the mad promises.
You can get acupuncture prescribed on the NHS for migraines and chronic pain. Its not going to cure anything but it does temporarily make your symptoms more manageable - if thats the goal then it’s the same ballpark as getting a massage for aching muscles etc.
