Ive helped out in lodging house mission although im not 100% if they open on christmas day - theyre a fantastic drop in centre who offer hot meals and showers as well as internet/computer classes and basic things like that aimed at helping homeless folk get back on their feet.
Social Bite is another great one which allows you to donate cash which will provide a homeless person with a christmas meal but again im not sure if theyre proactively looking for people to volunteer - worth emailing though id say.
