Have you got a pair of decent, properly fitted running shoes? If not Achillies Heel on Gt Western Rd can sort you out.
What sort of distance do you start out at and how quickly do you increase?
Most injuries come from overloading the muscles with training volume. Apps like couch to 5k generally increase at a pace that minimises the risk of injury. You might find that your cardio is letting you increase volume at a pace quicker than your muscles can adapt to.
Having said that, when you run you want to imagine that the top of your head is dangling from a spring and hence this should help maintain your posture. Also when running try to avoid heel striking. Be conscious of the part of your foot that is being used for landing and pushing off and try to alter it so you use the front of your feet.
Local running clubs usually have some sort of coach attached to them but they're generally of more use to people trying to improve times etc. What is of more value to you is the wealth of knowledge and experience you can tap into from all the members. Everyone started out from being a non runner and are more than happy to share their experiences and tips. They will have beginner sessions and I'd imagine this would be your best bet rather than a running coach per se. Good luck!
