I have claimed EDC before and their lawyer dragged it out, tried to deter by leaving it for months, then asking for receipts and proof hoping I wouldn’t have it. I had them over a barrel though as I had been reporting it for over 6 months and they didn’t do anything about an unavoidable crater right across the road.
When I submitted a claim from Glasgow they binned it saying it hadn’t been reported to them prior to my incident. I couldn’t be bothered going through all the hassle again for the sake of £60 or something. |
