We get a flat hourly wage so whether or not you sign up with someone at the door it doesn’t give us commission so all the money of your donation goes directly to the charity. We get paid because it’s a proper job with long hours. But they are a very good employer and there are a lot of good parts (and a lot of stairs)
It’s a direct debit like you said so the payment is set up by a third party with your bank and takes 2-6 weeks to process and you can stop it any time. It’s all legit and is a very cool thing to do (you can just go on the website) |
