| Comment | I live in drumchapel, I don’t have any kids but if I did I’d send them to Drumchapel over Knightswood. My sister went to drumchapel, she loved it. She’s not a ned, she’s quiet and reserved and has a small group of friends so not someone who is terrorising the school. There’s clubs and activities on, kids just need to make the best of it. New headteacher is a little… unusual. I was getting texts every day, small updates for no apparent reason? I’m my sisters guardian so that’s why I got them.
As far as grades go, they will be ranked low but I can explain this one too. Drumchapel seem to genuinely want the kids to have a good outcome, a lot of high school will push for exams results but drumchapel high only offer those exams if they think you can do it. Everyone else gets offered part time college courses or work courses, while still remaining in school so that’s it’s not a big shock going into the real world. |
