I'm from and live in Paisley and I hate this reputation overhang that it's had since the 70s. Really, it's not what it used to be and yeah, the high Street is dead (where isn't these days) but the community is flourishing, there are so many local businesses these days and honestly? Even the worst parts of Paisley aren't as bad as places like Renfrew.
