| Comment | Ignore the comments about Trainpal, the apps decent but their customer support is based in Hong Kong and is pretty much non existent. If you want to ring them up office hours are Hong Kong time!
TrainSplit are a lot better and have UK based support. If trains are cancelled they’ll give you a refund no questions asked.

They do charge a fee (just like all the split ticket providers do) but the savings outweigh it.
Alternatively use TrainSplit or Trainpal to find the split journey times and book each ticket individually through a train company like ScotRail to save even more money!
Also get a railcard if you’re eligible to save an additional 1/3rd (you have to buy it but it pays for itself after a journey or two and you can use it domestically on ScotRail too) |
