Comment | It’s the worst way to travel between Glasgow and London. There is nothing to see but endless miles of grey motorway. By the time you get to Liverpool you’ll be bored out of your skull wishing for it all to end, then realise you’re only half way there.
You’ll have polished off that audiobook you were struggling to finish, listened to a podcast, blitzed through an album from your favourite artist and still have another 4 hours of dodging maniacs who don’t know how to use the motorway.
For the privilege, you’ll pay about £200 a day for a Fiat 500, or more like £300 a day for something like a Skoda Octavia or 3 series. Rental prices are already through the roof, but at this time of year lots of people are visiting family around the country and from abroad pushing them up even further. You’re looking at £50 in fuel one way and thats in a good economical car.
In summary pick any other way to travel apart from driving. It will be less time consuming and cheaper. |
