> Integrated transport (bus, train, subway). One ticket/card, multiple trips, any distance, max charge...oh...£5. It works well in other areas (e.g. Nottingham), so why not Glasgow?

OMG this. I never used buses until early this year (been here since 2019 for uni). I only started using them because I was on crutches due to an injury. The public transport is horrible! I come from Kent where it's all one company and you can buy day passes, but then later in the year I went to my home country: romania, where I don't go very often, and my home town has public transport 10 times better than Glasgow (but only about 300k population) one company, GPS, real-time time of arrival using GPS, buy one ticket to last 45 minutes (for £0.50). It still had issues like broken ticket machines. Still, good buses are not enough to keep me there.

What's with the bus stops that only certain buses stop in? I had to walk on crutches uphill (really hard to do - had to take a break every 2 minutes and I'm quite fit) in town centre to change buses going to the hospital for treatment. I spent over £100 on Uber in January after trying the buses in Glasgow. (I had also never used Uber before - only cycling)
