It’s just not as simple as that, and staff have specific skill sets which are not necessarily transferable. Having someone in a frantic unfamiliar environment can be really unhelpful to both parties.
The main issue is the lack of social care which means people are stuck in hospital far longer than they need to be as their health has improved but there is still recuperating to be done.
