I know how ignorant I must appear but genuinely assumed that because I had a FT job to go to which is above the thresholds for benefits that I wouldn’t be eligible for any help. I used the calculator based on being employed (statutory leave) which I assume is correct, and it seems I can get UC, child benefit and another child payment. The council tax appears to be a reduction so you just pay the water and sewerage charges alone. Feeling less stressed now! |
