| Comment | The greed of UoG is breaking the city. I live outside Glasgow (South Lanarkshire), and this year walking the dog I have met students who moved to my area because it was impossible to find flats (or houses) in Glasgow. Of course this means that if more students come to my area, locals will be kicked out.
I think the UoG should move its campus outside the city. Keep the old building (not so old really, since it is fake old) in the West End, but make a new Campus outside the city. And also create there student dorms. This is how most unis in Europe are. And in Edinburgh it is a bit like that. Years ago Heriot Watt moved from the City to the outside. |
