| Comment | Least you can eat at the desk. I know truckers who are driving 18/26t trucks daily and work 12 hour shifts without taking a break. They can't even eat on the go because they'll get sacked if they eat whilst driving (camera above their head). You're entitled to your break, take it. A bit different from a trucker who needs to unload their truck or they won't get home, you could just walk out when it's your time right? Then they're hand balling 6 tonne of goods a day by themselves in and out crammed indian takeaways. I feel for you all, I do, but the grass isn't always greener on the other side. Truckers have a worse situation and they're risking the public's lives and their own. I'd rather be eating yogurts whilst Microsoft excel loads, than risking getting the jail and crashing and killing hundreds of people due to the physical and mental exhaustion they go through. The whole country is fucked.
Oh yeh and at least you've got a toilet to use. Truckers dont. I got refused using an nhs kitchen toilet because "no you can't use it, besides were all women in here". |
