The issue isn't so much cycling there (fun, adventure, off to Bute) but cycling back the next day (fuck me I'm exhausted, only 4 hours of pedalling to go). That's 66 miles in 2 days, fully laden on a 13kg bike, which is too much for me unfortunately. Maybe in summer!
