| Comment | I totally get where you're coming from but I usually pay by cash out of respect, not just for taxis but anything (snack vans, takeaways, mechanics, tyre places, barbers, anywhere that is a small guy trying to make some cash in this government taxed corporate world). If someone wants to avoid declaring their earnings then that's their choice, I support them for taking the risk and for doing what they can to survive. But aye it's shite for you but then again what do you expect when it's always been the way they're doing it. Cards and digital money are selfish and eliminates the small guy and the poor. Imagine a world with no cash, how do you help homeless people who don't have cards? It's all a ploy to make the gov more money and eliminate the small guy. |
