Capitalism was never designed to help anyone except the rich to become even wealthier. Now that's happened, there's nothing left for those who don't already have assets.
I feel for the next generation, I really do. Unless you somehow earn a lot of money, like over 40K as soon as you leave school/ Uni/ training. you got very little chance of anything really, until you're about 40.
It doesn't surprise me you got little hope for the future, cos you don't have any. As a Gen X, I'm embarrassed what the boomers did to your future. They stole it so they could buy a big house.
Tax the wealthy, build back nationalised industry, increase wages, build social housing, offer a future to the next generation. As I see it, we haven't done that. The papers have got us blaming immigrants and benefit claimants. |
