We were just staying in one of these a couple of days ago and it was absolutely fantastic.
I don't think it'd be too easy to get to public transport wise though - you'd need to get the bus to Dunure then it's about a 40 minute walk to the cottages along coastal paths and stuff. A great walk but don't think i'd fancy it with my luggage for a few days stay.
