You can honestly do this yourself very cheaply, as long as you are not mobility impaired and can climb a ladder to access your loft. Buy bails of rockwool, cut it to size with a bread knife and pop it between the joists nice and snug.
Should be able to do the full thing for £400 or so, which will pay for itself in a year no bother.
