Denying the validity of trans people, and pushing the narrative that trans people are attempting to groom and indoctrinate is transphobia. You'll deny that because you don't want to accept the bad label, but it's the case.
The furor around Rowling is far more than her just opening a single sex RC centre. She could have done so without filling the board with outspoken TERFs and making such pointed statements. This was a blatant political stunt.
