Yes it's a joke. I only ever pass over the bridge on a bike. Why they made it two separate roads is beyond me. It's incredibly confusing and to those nor familiar with it the roads look like two single direction lanes. I have seen so many cars drive on the wrong side of the road.

If you are travelling south on a bike and keep to the bike lane which is on the right of the bridge then you can't go left at Govan Road. I have to go on the left where the cars go and get honked at!
