| Comment | Go and visit the wall! My favourite parts are Bar Hill near Twechar and Rough Castle, which is between Bonnybridge and the Falkirk Wheel. And the stretch between Croy and Castlecary include highlights such as a huge Roman head (modern sculpture), an alpaca farm, and low flying planes as they train at Cumbernauld Airport.
Not to mention some pretty decent scenery for somewhere that's so close to urban areas.
I've walked all of those stretches solo. There aren't many people about either. |
