Try and find a private landlord on gumtree! They are often more relaxed than letting agencies - Id just be careful whether or not they are registered (if registered they’ll have a landlord number).
You won’t get in trouble if they’re not registered (that’s on them) but normally if they are then they put your deposit in the safe deposit scheme (which is a legal requirement). |
