We've worn masks and isolated ourselves from everyday bugs and viruses for the last 3 years. It shouldn't come as a great surprise that we're all now suffering with coughs and colds.
OP, if you really want to see a doc, then your response is that you *have* coughed up blood.
But trust your GP - they really don't want to see you suffer.
