Comment | When it comes to respiratory issues, GPs will make every excuse imaginable to not see you. I'd say make phone appointments every few weeks and keep telling them about this issue, as they will need to document it, so that if further down the line something does happen there will be notes of repeated attempts to get a consultation. Unfortunately at present GPs will always do phone consultations before they will even consider seeing a patient and they'll only see patients in special circumstances, so one practice I went to had a list in the reception that stated patients would only be seen is they had xyz issues (can't remember what the list said other than if someone says they have a lump in their breast they're to be seen). |
