| Comment | Another vote for Cloud 9. Very recently, I had to make the decision to let my cat rest after a brave battle with cancer. Charis came out the next day (Dec 29th) and was so gentle my cat didn’t even notice the first jab that sent her to sleep, which is given before the second was administered to stop her heart, a process they say is much better and serene for animals. Kasha was very unhappy out of her home so I couldn’t have her last moments being in fear or distress at the vets, and Cloud 9 made it possible for her to be comfortable and feel secure in her final moments.
I’m crying a bit writing this, I’m still grieving. Charis was so lovely, and gave my husband and I time to talk through things beforehand, then gave us a few minutes privacy in between the injections to say goodbye. We had already arranged with our vet for cremation, but Cloud 9 also offer to handle that as they work with a service in Bathgate who will come pick up your pet a little after the process. |
