If visiting the Burrell I'd make a day of it an explore the country park, House for an Art Lover, and Pollock House and/or Crookston Castle. Could also combine the Riverside with the Govan Stones and the Fairfield Heritage centre (use the subway train to cross the river from Patrick). Personally I love the little Glasgow Tenement Museum, not big but fascinating. Glasgow Museum of Art can be worth a look too.
