In terms of job advice there are a few areas that are pretty high turnover and should be hiring. I've heard of plenty success stories with call centers in the past. Some are better than others so YMMV
Try looking at Customer Service/Sales for some of these:

You can also look into some recruitment agencies:

LinkedIn
I've been out of that circle for a while now but they're usually constantly hiring part time/full time at all hours, give decent (paid) training even if you're inexperienced and usually want a quick start.
Your CV may need some tailoring to fit these employers if you haven't done this work before. The recruitment agencies may be able to help with this.
