Thanks - it's a relief to hear that they can sometimes just stay in the walls and reading your comment helps me feel a bit better :). Keep expecting one to pop it's furry face out through crumbling plaster "Here's Johnny!" style. I'm guessing a building over 100 years old will definitely see some rodent action in it's time.
