| Comment | To each their own, but for folk in the surrounds of Glasgow he's spot on. I grew up in Argyll & Bute, now live in Inverclyde. The toxic policies of GCC have all but alienated many people I know from going into the city centre for anything other than the occasional piss up, it's just too inconvenient.
Not terrible for city centre residents I imagine, but for those of us just outside of the city GCCs policies have been awful. Whether or not the former outweighs the latter in terms of business have yet to be seen, So far these anti-personal transport policies have faired somewhat badly in Scotland, it's yet to be seen if on a larger scale they can be successful, personally I am hedging against them though. |
