* Return by bus for two: £9~
* Up to 4 hours of parking: £7 (£3 on Sundays, or £1 with cinema ticket)
* More usual is 2 hours: £3.80 (£3 on Sundays)
* Car actual exists and doesn't ghost us
When we do go, I'd much rather take the bus. Means I could have a beer before/after the movie (or dealing with all the gormless hordes on the streets) but public transport in Glasgow is just *such a fucking joke*. Expensive, buses are regular no-shows, they are filthy, poor connections, etc.
When I have been one the sauce in the centre, I will actually walk home because that is just more convenient than the FirstBus service.
I have lived in places with decent public transport, Glasgow is not one of the places. It's a disaster here. |
